Welcome to the collections of work that make up Joy’s 2023 pieces. This year’s work has been particularly inspired by her travels to Norway. Themes of day and night, motion and stillness are a throughline. This work speaks to the duality of nature and human existence across continents. She connected deeply with family heritage and deep routed connection to living near the ocean. In her work, Kinna creates tranquility in limpid pools of paint. Like parallel lines that never meet, dark and lightness, within and around us, finding balance and harmony.
